Our beautiful pair of Snowy Owls were introduced in 2018, a year after the construction of Birdworld’s famous owl exhibit, The Terry Pratchett Owl Parliament.

Snowy Owls live in the frozen northern region of the Arctic, where they hunt silently for their prey. Their large feathery feet help to protect them from the cold, and white feathers keep them camouflaged against the snowy landscape.
